The founder and chairman of the Capricorn Foundation is Tatjana Gallist. She was born in 1968 and grew up in Pakistan, St. Lucia, Tortola, Tanzania, Seychelles and Kenya as her father worked for the United Nations and the World Bank.
The founder and chairman of the Capricorn Foundation is Tatjana Gallist. She was born in 1968 and grew up in Pakistan, St. Lucia, Tortola, Tanzania, Seychelles and Kenya as her father worked for the United Nations and the World Bank.
After completing secondary school in Nairobi, Kenya, she returned to Europe in 1987 and studied Business Administration in Austria.
Upon graduating from University she began a career in the auditing profession acquiring all necessary titles to become an independent advisor and auditor. In 1995 she started her own consulting business.
Tatjana’s love for Africa never subsided. Her initial determination to join foreign aid projects after completing University, has now been adapted to a more direct and personal approach by setting up this foundation.
Extended travels to different countries and the contact to various organizations but especially the people, have given Tatjana an in-depth knowledge of the prevailing conditions that affect people and wildlife locally.
