Great Plains Foundation (GPF) was founded in 2014 with a mission to conserve and expand natural habitats in Africa through innovative conservation initiatives guided by a long-term commitment to the environment, wildlife, and local communities. To realize this mission, GPF’s core programs aim to support people and wildlife living in and around protected areas in Botswana, Kenya, and Zimbabwe through conservation education, community support and empowerment, wildlife and biodiversity protection and environmental stewardship.
